I have an OpenOffice spreadsheet that finds roots of cubic equations analytically (i.e., noniterative). If the constant term is 3072000000, then it gives these roots:

Unfortunately, this can't be easily programmed into a TI82, because the spreadsheet uses complex math operations (even if all roots are real, the calculations may have complex intermediate results), and the TI82 can't do complex math. I believe the TI83 can do complex math though.
