If I want to show root symbol other than square root symbol, how do I do it? For example, if I want to show third root, fourth root, fifth root symbol, etc, how do I do it?

\sqrt[n]{...}, where n is the nth root. For example, \sqrt[3]{81} gives \(\displaystyle \sqrt[3]{81}\).

For square root and cube root, you can write: sqrt(x) and cbrt(x)

Otherwise I suppose you'll have to use exponents. Square root is x^(1/2), cube root is x^(1/3), 4th is x^(1/4) ... nth is x^(1/n)
