Proof of Riemann Hypothesis

Sir Michael Atiyah is a huge name in mathematics. He's one of the best mathematicians alive today. He has proven the famous Atiyah-Singer index theorem, and has won a Fields medal.

What's more, at 90(!!) years of age, he will present this monday a proof of the Riemann hypothesis, arguably the most important unsolved mathematical result of this time.

This is huge news, but many mathematicians are skeptical. Moreso because Atiyah claims the proof is "simple". Nevertheless, Atiyah wants to show math is not a young man's game only, and somebody of 90 can do something relevant.

Very exciting!

google "Atiyah." Interesting.

There is also a one million dollar prize for anyone who can prove Atiyah's proof is correct.

It is my sincere hope that Atiyah is correct. Mathematics needs to move on from this.

This is huge, just think of all the mathematical theorems currently based on the assumption that the Riemann Hypothesis is true. Exciting!

.
Atiyah has produced a number of papers in recent years making remarkable claims which have so far failed to convince his peers.
I didn't have much luck trying to find these 'remarkable claims'. Anyone know what this is referring to?
