# Distance from lightning

The equations I have for speed of sound have the bulk modulus and density if air in them. So I am not sure where the temperature and time come in to solving this.

Are there equations for this?

So the speed is roughly 331+.606(12)= 338.272 m/s x 8.2 seconds =2.77 km.
