# caps switch to lower case

#### zylo

I write formula in upper case and preview changes everything to lower case. Same thing happens if I post without preview. Very frustrating.

$$\displaystyle [b^{t}ab]^{t}=[(b^{t}a)b]^{t}=b^{t}(b^{t}a)^{t}=b^{t}a^{t}b=b^{t}ab$$

A workaround:

I get $$\displaystyle [B^{T}AB]^{T}=[(B^{T}A)B]^{T}=B^{T}(B^{T}A)^{T}=B^{T}A^{T}B=B^{T}AB$$

Or use $$\displaystyle ...$$:

$$\displaystyle [B^{T}AB]^{T}=[(B^{T}A)B]^{T}=B^{T}(B^{T}A)^{T}=B^{T}A^{T}B=B^{T}AB$$

$$\displaystyle [b^{t}ab]^{t}$$

$$\displaystyle [b^{t}ab]^{t}=[(b^{t}a)b]^{t}=b^{t}(b^{t}a)^{t}=b^{t}a^{t}b=b^{t}ab$$

Copied Skipjack's code and put some of mine back in caps and preview showed caps. Did another preview without changing anything and the preview AS WELL AS ORIGINAL, came back in lower case.

My example worked because the line began with "I get" (or any normal text would do).

Never mind. Not getting consistent results in preview, but apparently preceding text helps. Not sure what will happen when I submit.

$$\displaystyle [B^{T}AB]^{T}=[(B^{T}A)B]^{T}=B^{T}(B^{T}A)^{T}=B^{T}A^{T}B=B^{T}AB$$

$$\displaystyle [B^{T}AB]^{T}=[(B^{T}A)B]^{T}=B^{T}(B^{T}A)^{T}=B^{T}A^{T}B=B^{T}AB$$

But that should have worked for OP.
