Hi could someone explain to me how you solve this particular equation? If sin^2001 x + cos^2001 x = 1 then sin x + cos x = 1. Last edited by skipjack; November 11th, 2017 at 03:01 AM.

Show that sin(x) and cos(x) are 0 and 1 or vice versa.
