Question Requesting guidance on these....

Hello everyone.

Attached are 2 pictures of the math I need help on. I already have the answers. What I need are the steps/work. If you could post a picture with your steps written on paper that would be much appreciated. Even if you only know a few, anything helps.

6). Correct values are in the 2nd and 3rd quadrants (option c).

9). 2 × 4² - 8 = 24 (option a).

10). nth term is 10 - 3n, so 99th term is -287 (option b).

13). The sketch shows an asymptote for x = -3 (approximately), so best answer is option b.

14). It's easy to verify that option a is correct.

16). It's easy to verify that option d is correct, but option a is also correct if the ln function is allowed to be complex-valued for negative argument values.

18). It's easy to show that option d is correct (if the RHS is defined).

They're all easy! Why are they causing you difficulty?
