Math Focus: dynamical systen theory
A verification problem

Dear MyMathForum Community:
How do you verify the following?

(tan^2) x * (sin^2) x = (tan^2) x + (cos^2) x - 1.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Carl Mesaros

tan²x * sin²x = tan²x * (1 - cos²x) = tan²x - sin²x = tan²x + cos²x - 1
