Unhappy Trigonometry help!

Please help me. This is a test which our prof will give us... or at least a similar one, but we haven't solved any similar problems like these.... I am not joking!

It would help if you were to type out that scribbled laundry list of questions.

... I'm not joking, either.

1. Hint: cos($\alpha$ - 45°) = cos($\alpha$)/√2 + sin($\alpha$)/√2

2. (cos(2x) - cos(4x))/(cos(2x) + cos(4x)) = 2sin(3x)sin(x)/(2cos(3x)cos(x)) = tan(x)tan(3x)

4. sin(40°) - cos(50°) = 0

You should learn some of the information given here.
