Height and distance

A sphere of radius r is lying on a ground. The sphere makes an angle of measure 60° at point A on the ground,then the distance of the centre of the sphere from A is ______ ?

maybe the center of the sphere makes an angle of measure \$60^\circ\$ with point A relative to the ground?

you have a sketch to clarify your problem statement?

On that basis, the answer would be r/sin(60°), which is 2r/√3, but a different interpretation would make the answer r/sin(60°/2), which is 2r.

either way, it's just a 30-60-90 triangle problem ... unless the ground isn't level :unsure:
