In this case it's handwritten (nicely, but still); poorly lit; and has such poor contrast that it's unreadable. Often if I'm interested in a problem that's accompanied by a low-quality image, being a bit of an amateur photographer I'll save the image to my hard drive and work it in an image editing program. In your case you posted a tiny image, 180x200 pixels. There is literally nothing to work with. It's the worst of all possible worlds. In general you should lay your copy on a table and place a pair of table lamps on either side. That approximates two soft lights at 45 degree angles, not a bad setup for copy work. Then hold your phone or camera steady, make sure it's in focus and take a few shots. Then look at them blown up on the computer and post the best of the lot. I hope someone reads this and learns to post good images. For the OP, I have a suggestion. Post your argument here, marked up in $\LaTeX$ or with symbols copy/pasted from Type mathematical symbols - online keyboard. The discipline of marking up a problem often results in solving it. You're forced to go slowly and think about everything you're writing. It's just like at work when someone asks for your advice on a technical matter. You just go, "Explain it to me," and halfway through explaining their problem to you they suddenly see the answer. They think you're a genius. All you did was make someone re-ask their own question. Thanks for reading my idle thoughts today. I really do think there's way too many badly-shot homework problems online. The mental discipline to take a good photo is exactly the same as the mental discipline to do math. I prefer markup but if someone's going to take a photo, take the time to make a good photo. OP I hope you will take my photographic and mathematical suggestions as constructive. I see you have a good mathematical handwriting and no doubt write math in a thoughtful manner. Having got some practise with it , i can see how it makes taking photos of written work redundant (faster and clearer).
