Hi everyone! I have my retry of my comp in Topology coming up later this month for my Master's degree (if I get a B or better, I'll have my Master's). I'd like to solidify on two particular topics: subbases for topological spaces (both problems where you have to prove a collection of sets is a subbase for a topology, and proving things about subbases), and connectedness (including standard, total, and local) of topological spaces and subspaces. If you have any practice problems I could try which you think would help me solidify, can you please post them? I've heard bits and pieces that our Master's is easier than the Master's at other universities (so I'm looking for problems from either undergraduate or regular Master's level topology). If you want to get an idea of the level I'm talking out, the old Topology comps are posted here: http://www.calstatela.edu/academic/math ... comps.html Any practice problems would be greatly appreciated.
