Roulette problem, I'm not sure how to post photos which really doesn't help me explain the problem But I'll try my best. 17 coloured slots on a spinning wheel 7 are GREEN, 10 are RED 2 ways to play - You ONLY bet on red, you win $2 if lands on red, lose$3 if lands on green. 10/17 chance to win - You ONLY bet on green, lose $2 if lands on red, win$3 if lands on green 7/17 chance to win I play 5 games and start with \$10. The cash balance IS ADJUSTED at the end of each spin, can only bet if you have enough money to cover a loss. Calculate all possible balances after 5 spins of each game. I must include outcomes and probabilities. Any ideas on how to work this out? There must be loads of possible outcomes.

As your first bet determines what you bet on for all subsequent bets of the five, there are not all that many possibilities (dozens rather than hundreds). Just list them all, together with the resulting cash balance. The question isn't clear as to what probabilities you have to give, but they're all straightforward to calculate. As your first bet doesn't have a known probability, I suggest you calculate all probabilities separately for the two possibilities.
