Q: Cables produced by a certain manufacturer have been found to have an average of one fault per 100m length. The cables are sold in 5m lengths. 1. Determine the proportion of these 5m cables that will be free from faults. 2. Determine the proportion of these 5m cables that will contain more than one faults. 3.If a batch of 12 of these 5m cables is bought determine the probability that at least 10 of them will be free from faults.
