Thumbs up The Kelly Criterion

I have written up a derivation of the Kelly criterion. I would be interested to get peoples thoughts on how easy you can follow it.

I wanted a high school student who understands the idea of expected values in statistics and how to differentiate the function $\ln f(x)$, to be able to follow it.

Also, do you think the problems I wrote at the end are too challenging?

Any comments would be appreciated.
