greg1313, I got... P(c) = 2P(b) P(b) = 3P(a) P(a) + P(b) + P(c) = 1 P(a) + 3P(a) + 2*3P(a) = P(a) + 3P(a) + 6P(a) = 10P(a) = 1 ? P(a) = 1/10, P(b) = 3*1/10 = 3/10, P(c) = 2*3/10 = 3/5. Who's wrong?

You're welcome. Thanks for solving P(b) = 3P(a).

I figure if you're just doing a lot of equations, that's just a bunch of plug n chug and it means you can follow a process. I don't see that the same as understanding it, and understanding something means you can see it, or even feel it. I hate equations cause it's just abstract nonsense I have to get a feel for what the equation means, usually trying to figure out how to do something without an equation first. Then I can deal with the equation even though they're still abstract nonsense. I'm still seeing the "logic" of it, not a pretty picture at a museum. Do you think I could sell that picture for a lot of money if I called it Scarlet Concepts in Dancing Probabilities?
