1) Determine the domain of the following function:



Answer: Domain [-4,4]

That is the answer of the exercise, but I wanted to know how to get that result. I could not understand.

For the function to be real, √(25 - x²) $\small\geqslant$ 3, so 25 - x² $\small\geqslant$ 9.
That's equivalent to x² $\small\leqslant$ 16, which means that the domain is [-4, 4].
