Rotations of Conic Section Equations

I am doing an online math course over conic sections and the rotation of them and how to apply rotations to their equations. I cannot figure out one of the problems as the lessons they give me do not explain the method needed to solve the problem. The problem is:

Transform the equation xy=1 by rotation, thus eliminating the xy term.

How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

There is only one choice from the three options that has the form of a hyperbola ... the other two are ellipses. If you want to see a direct calculation, see page 3 at the link ... http://math.sci.ccny.cuny.edu/document/show/2685 Thanks from Stucko09
