Conic Section Parabola Standard Form

Can someone check my work?

If I did wrong please explain to me how to do it right?
I only googled how to do it and that's how I've come up with that answers, based on this..

Looks good.

Some questions.

You do realize that if the line joining the vertex and the focus is not parallel to either the x-axis or the y-axis, the formulas you are relying on will not work. I got a little jumpy when you said "regular" parabola.

Are you allowed to leave your answer in that form, or do they want y = something?

I don't know. It actually didn't say anything but find it's standard form.

I changed again my answers into this..


...but still not sure about it.
