Talking refreshing complex numbers

Hello all! Thanks to all of you that have been so helpful...

'i' (the italicized version) is equal to root(-1)

if that is the case, i^9 power should still equal root(-1)...?

am I right?

Yes.

That's correct, yes. The powers of $i$ cycle with a period of 4.

$i^{4k} = 1$, $i^{4k + 1} = i$, $i^{4k + 2} = -1$ and $i^{4k + 3} = -i$.
Thanks from fishgoglugglugglug and Joppy
