This is usually done by looking at simple harmonic motion (SHM) in Physics. You can then understand a wave as an array or sequence of single oscillators pasing on the vibration from one to another in an organised manner. This introduction is usually treated in general Physics books. Individual books dedicated to waves are more advanced and normally involve calculus.

Can you suggest a general physic book please I learn at home so I need a well explained book but not complex books which are for university I actually studied SHM briefly in Mechanics but not waves
