Driverless automobiles in future.

Do you feel the main challenges of Driverless automobiles technology are testing in Highways and Tunnels?

Thanks & Regards,

Thanks.

The main challenges would be Tunnels,Highways,Hills etc for testing Driverless automobiles with other automobiles running parallel on road.

Thanks & Regards,

Thanks.

Do you feel Driverless automobiles in the future will become a reality?

Humans will be reluctant to be the passengers in the Driverless automobiles model as they may feel the risks of accidents?

Hills,Slopes,Tunnels,Highways,Mountains etc could be the barriers.

What are your views?

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

They already are a reality. Tesla cars are more or less completely autonomous on freeways.

Thanks.

I mean are there Driverless automobiles running in any country viz USA,Japan,UK etc ?. That is something incredible to achieve.

Driving automation at its Peak!!!. Great work.
Detecting Traffic Signals,parallel automobiles running,
Lane detection,Speed optimisation etc are some of the challenges.

Are they been already tested running on Highways,Hills,Tunnels,Slopes,Mountains etc?

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar
