Maximum Range of Radar.

What will be the Maximum Range of a Radar System to detect a object?

Can the maximum range of a Radar be increased with technological innovations?

Transmitter and Receiver Antenna material can be a important factor for Radar System?

Which could be the best materials used for Transmitter and Receiver Antenna for a Radar System?
