I can't think of any reason why anyone would want to wade through a wall of text like the OP. If you don't learn to improve your presentation, nobody is going to pay you any attention at all past the first sentence.
Thanks from Denis and Joppy

I'm not sure anyone did. Just read the title and saw a slab of text, then responded to other replies .

I wasn't suggesting that they did. Quite the reverse in fact.

The late Buzz Aldrin's response to someone calling him a liar about landing on the moon ... "the eagle has landed"

I read most of the post. His concerns about the fuel used to the weight of the whole kit and kaboodle interested me ... if in fact those are the official numbers. I don't have the time or resources to do fact checking.

I think we landed on the moon, but I'm inclined to think we didn't release accurate information about it. Why would we assist other competitor countries by providing accurate data about the landing or other missions in the middle of a 'Space Race' taking place at the height of the 'Cold War' ??

@skipjack, just because 1 space suit helmet looks like it is made from paper maché doesn't imply that any random paper maché mask is a space suit helmet.

To me they look like the statues on Easter Island , your submitted photo may in fact be proof of an ancient advanced civilisation of chickens now extinct ROFL

I propose this thread be moved to the lounge

All the hoax theories have been debunked. A reflector was left on the moon and has been regularly used for range-finding from earth.

But they got Hulk Hogan to throw that up there in the late 80s. It's not proof of a landing.
Thanks from Benit13
