Boomerang - Laws of Physics

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boomerang

How does a Boomerang and Returning Boomerang works ?

What are the Laws of Physics governing it ?

Properties/Inputs :

1. Material used for creating a Boomerang viz Wood, Rubber, Glass, Metal, Paper etc
2. Geometrical Shape of a Boomerang - Arc, Curve, Polygon, Quadrilateral etc ?

Will change in either Material or Geometrical Shape in Boomerang will make the difference in terms of its functioning ?

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

Re: Boomerang - Laws of Physics

Thank you.

By Changing the Geometrical Shape or Material used for Boomerang manufacturing/creation, the Returning Boomerang will not function as it was before.

Isn't it ?
