 November 10th, 2011, 04:50 AM #2 Newbie   Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 27 Thanks: 0 Re: Question in centroid for given figure 1) sorry, have problems with English, so maybe i do not correct with all this, but... for triangle with sides a=b=c=30 mm $S= \frac{1}{2} \cdot a \cdot b \sin(...)$ for triangle with sides a=b=c=30 mm and angles are $A= B = C = \frac{180 degrees}{3} = 60 degrees$ $sin(60 degrees)= \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$ $S= \frac{1}{2} \cdot a^2 \sin(60) =\frac{1}{2} \cdot 30^2 \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} = 225 sqrt{3} mm^2$
