Math Focus: Number theory
Coincidence for its own sake

Someone here suggested to me a couple of years ago a scholarly article that explained by far most numerical coincidence as just that -- not some spooky underlying mathematical magic.

[Consider the "Feynman point" fluke.]

Do you know the outline to which I am referring?
