Hello, i have encountered a problem where i have to proof that the relation σ ≡ τ is an equivalence relation the relation is defined like this σ ≡ τ ⇔ ∃ρ∈Symn [ρσ = τ ρ]. I know how to prove the reflexivity and symmetry but i cant figure out how to proof the transitivity. can anybody help?
