Fibonacci vs. prime

Which, if either, is more fundamental to mathematics: the Fibonacci sequence or the prime sequence?

In my opinion, the prime numbers are much more fundamental to mathematics than the Fibonacci sequence. Just look at the fundamental theorem of arithmetic.
