another small correction

A zip file containing a jpeg? You should use png or svg for diagrams, and in any case you shouldn't try to zip any of these formats (they won't shrink further).

Adding up to CRG comment, some nice applications like pdf-latex would make the insertion of images like that easier and it would look far nicer, the trick is to learn some $\LaTeX$.

I just recalled that I found an example of math article that gives you everything you need.
