My Math Forum Diophantine Equation

 March 24th, 2010, 07:01 PM #1 Newbie   Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Diophantine Equation X^2+Y^2+2=XYZ I can get the sequence done and all but my question is how does this relate to the Fibonacci numbers. I'm kinda stumped.

I see no direct relationship. Could it be related, somehow, to the fact that $5F_n^2 \pm 4$ is a square?
