Need help with the right order to learn math subjects
I wanted to ask a question that nobody seems to be able to answer concerning the order in which to learn math subjects. I'm still in high school and I only know math up to Algebra II, so I wanted to know what math course to take after it, then which after that one, and so on. I'm planning to go to college and major in physics (unsure of which field yet), so I want to make sure I know all the math I need. Could someone please list the proper order in which to learn math? So far I've got:
and my school would make me follow that with Trigonometry, after which I'd have to choose between either Probability & Statistics or Pre-Calculus, followed by Calculus. I'd like to know the proper order in which to learn the various subjects, and in what order to learn the math (Calculus II, III, Linear Algebra, etc.) that follows the ones previously mentioned.
Also, this is my first post on this site, so I'm not sure if this was the right place to post my question.

Re: Need help with the right order to learn math subjects
There's a lot of flexibility in the order. I've given a typical order along with requirements/recommendations.
Trigonometry requires Algebra I and is easiest after Algebra II and Geometry.
Probability & Statistics requires Algebra II (well, just Algebra I in a pinch).
Pre-Calc requires Algebra II and Geometry.
Calc I requires Pre-Calc.
Calc II requires Calc I and loads of effort.
Calc III requires Calc II.
Linear Algebra requires Calc I (but is usually taken after Calc III)
Differential Equations requires Calc III, I think -- certainly at least Calc II.
