Orange marked threads

I was just wondering why some threads get marked orange? Does that mean the topic is closed?

If it's closed, it will have a little padlock on top of it. The orange just means that someone has posted in that thread recently I think. I'm not sure how 'recent' recent is, maybe 10 minutes or something.

EDIT: Well this thread isn't appearing as orange so I guess I'm wrong!

Yeah, I noticed there doesn't seem to be any pattern to when they get marked orange. Interesting!
Thanks from Joppy

Orange represents a new post in that thread that you haven't seen yet.

Great! It tells me that I haven't seen a thread that I last posted in.

I go to the home screen to see if something was posted that I haven't seen yet. Every time I look at a thread with a post I haven't read, the orange dot disappears when I look at the home screen again. The bold face titles also change to regular titles. I don't see any blue dots, though.
Thanks from Joppy and ProofOfALifetime

I've always been one for refreshing the 'New Posts'.. However navigating to Home or Forums doesn't negate the suspicious dot that is appears orange.

I keep seeing blue dots when I haven't read something. I usually don't see orange for a few days. I think blue might mean you haven't seen it.

It's okay though. Not that important I was just curious because I see that on some threads but not others.
