Learn math for free..read it and see if you like it...

Good day to all,

I am Anthony Van Sacabin, i am new here. I am an academician, i would like to help anyone here who is having a problem with regards to math in any fields. I have a website: <link removed by moderator>, this is not much of a site but i am giving out a very good offer. I want you to post here or send me a message about any topics you like to be discuss. Any math topics that you think you are having some troubles understanding. I will then create a video tutorial to discuss that topic and post it in my site. Don't worry, this is completely free.

I moved this topic here (most appropriate sub-forum) and removed the 4 duplicates scattered across the forums.

"Having someone do your assignment save you time, get the chance to know the solutions for problems that are very hard at your level right now, get good grades of course."

You're flat-out offering to do people's homework for them. Read further and it's for a fee.

I would just report the spam, but I wanted the opportunity to throw my two cents in about your little concept of doing people's assignments for them. It is THEIR job to do their assignments and get their own DESERVED grades, not your job to do it for them and earn their grades for them. Yes, asking someone to do their assignment IS the lazy thing to do, and offering to do it for them for pay is the unethical thing to do. If I were queen, your site would be illegal.

This is why so many people don't trust online degrees.

I should have checked out the link...shame on me.

I removed the link, because there is no need for us to provide a link here to a site where you pay someone to do your work for you. It is not only lazy, but unethical and runs counter to our mission here.

If folks here want you to create videos or whatever, they can let you know here. Nothing wrong with that.

Is it unethical? Really? I think everybody take it the wrong way. I am not advertising my website for you or something did you read the post clearly enough to understand it? "I will post the videos in my post", that website was made out favor from the local university here in my place. Sorry, it is not for you, what i am offering here is free. I just want you to give me ideas on things you want to be discuss and i will post here there. Well, i don't have any website though. I am just a simple man without too much cash and created a cheap website to help other people learn something or make things clearer for them. I won't ask a penny or so.

Another thing, i choose assignments to accept. I only accept those seems very hard for there level. I was once a student in that local university i am talking about and teacher are cruel. They give assignments that they know no one can answer to drag there students down (Yes, there exist a university like this. They want to fail a lot of students to create an image that they have a high standards).

It is academically dishonest to pay someone to do your assigned work for you and turn it in as your own for credit. You are certainly free to choose to do this for people, but our forum is not a place to post a link to such a site. That's why I removed the link. We do not knowingly participate in what amounts to cheating.

You are free to post videos, and better yet, if you want to help people, contribute to our forum by helping people with their questions.

Just our of curiosity, if someone post a math problem here, how can you be so sure that is not his/her assignment? So you are telling me that it is not cheating since they had the answer for free?

There is no way to be certain, and I am sure that happens, but we are not advertizing that we will do a person's assigned work for a fee. We try to offer help in such a way that the poster gains insight and understanding. Our contributors work on a voluntary basis for the sheer joy of helping others gain a better understanding of the material.

Like I said, there is nothing wrong with you wanting to earn a living, but when you offer to do other people's assigned work, that is dishonest both on the part of the student and on your part. I find it hard to believe that a university would condone such a practice. Now, if you were offering tutoring services for a fee, that would be a different situation. Tutors help guide a student in their studies, not take tests and do homework for them.

I am not here to judge though, but it is my duty to make sure our forum is not used as a place to advertize a site that participates in academically dishonest practices. Our mission is to help people gain a better understanding of mathematics, and what you offer is diametrically opposed to that mission.

Try posting a link to your website on most math forums, and I bet you get a similar response.
