Hi guys, I'm new since yesterday, great place to sharpen up my old school maths! I've seen a couple of you guys using some nice notation format, is there a tutorial anywhere on that? p.s please if anyone is good on college maths take a look at my post in applied maths about leastsquares, I could really use some of your brains

Hello! I'm new also but let me give you a hand: I think you like to format 2x as This is called LaTeX. Just use: [latex] \mbox{}[\latex] Search here for more commands http://www.ntg.nl/doc/biemesderfer/ltxcrib.pdf But I really don't know what's going on, as the latex tags are not working.. latex.htm check this also. See you!

Hi, it's me again, I discovered that there's a CGI available on the server to do the LaTeX tasks: cgibin/mimetex.cgi? add your latex code after the ?.
