Hey peoples, I know I'm not really that new, but a few weeks is at least relatively new, no? So I thought it about time for an introduction. Name is Steve, I go to school in Amherst MA, I study (suprise!) math. Actually "applied" math, because I'm a fan of analysis, and differential equations of all kinds. Although embarrassingly I have not applied it! (Any advice on how to start applying mathematics would be great!) I really enjoy this forum so far, and have learned a lot just reading the responses other users give. Not much else to say other than I'm really glad I found this website. Literally none of my friends like math, those that do are incredibly busy with it and rarely have time to chill. |

Hey, welcome. What kinds of analysis have you done? I'm thinking about taking more complex... the first course I had left me unsatisfied (good teacher, though). For real analysis I think I'll take as little as I can get by with. |
