[math][/math] help

I'd like to learn how to use " tool" to make my posts look they way they should.
What is this? Previously I used LATEX and everything was fine and now this. I don't know how to use it. Please help.

The [MATH] tags are the same as the previous [latex] tags. You can also use the double dollar symbols \$\$ if you want to too.

I suggest enclosing the mathematical text (written as though using latex) between single dollar signs. If the result is unsatisfactory, try using the math tag as suggested above.

The formatted result is not embedded if you use double dollar signs, but instead becomes an indented separate paragraph.
