Math Focus: dynamical systen theory
Early spring : momentous events

Early spring seems to come up well in the history of physics. March of 1665
and March of 1666 (Isaac Newton at Woolsthorpe, United Kingdom) these past
three months ( the experimental evidence of the Higgs boson and now the
ability to channel neutrinos from Fermilab to South Dakota ). But there was
an important event that occurred practically in my own backyard. Between
March 31, 1948 and April 2, 1948, the Pocono Conference was held. At the
Pocono Manor Inn (now a National Historic Site ), the bright lights of the physics community convened : Richard P. Feynmann Ph.D. , Paul Adrien
Maurice Dirac Ph.D. , Niels Bohr Ph.D. , Aage Bohr Ph.D. , Julien Swinger Ph.D. , were there. However, Einstein remained behind in Princeton.
So much for now. Bye!

Sincerely yours,
Carl Mesaros
