Question Simplify Surds

Hi
I have to simplify this square root fraction:
10/√5 + √20

The answer is 4√5, but I do not get to that answer.
Please help.

Try rewriting $\displaystyle \sqrt{20}$ as $\displaystyle \frac{\sqrt{20}\sqrt{5}}{\sqrt{5}}$ so you can add the fractions, and see if that helps.

10/√5 = 2 × 5/√5 = 2√5 = √20
