Stored Energy Formula

Hi all,

Electric vehicle battery pack is rated as having a useable energy capacity of 58.5kWh. How much useable energy is stored by the battery at full charge?
Answer in MJ.

I believe I have to convert the kwh to Ah calculate accordingly?

Thank you for any help.

kilowatt hours converted to joules ...

$58.5 \, kWh = \left(58.5 \times 10^3 \, \dfrac{J}{s} \right) \cdot \left(3.6 \times 10^3 \, s\right) = 210.6 \times 10^6 \, J$
