It's not just mathematics, it is all forms of learnig. It is a matter of culture and tradition. Asians are generally raised in a Confucian tradition that respects learning and hard work. Similarly, Jewish kids, who are raised in the Rabbinical tradition do well in scholarly subjects.

Asian language and culture are based on memorization.

Certainly for China and Japan, the language. You have to memorize a symbol for every thing and idea. The Confucian examination system for entrance into government service was based on memorization.

I'm glad I'm not Asian so I don't have to memorize a language.

This could not possibly be the case. There are billions of Asians, therefore say hundreds of millions or so Asian students at any given moment, and they can not possibly all be good at math. I'll bet that a lot of them suck at math and those people become politicians and artists and liberal arts majors. I'd bet that math ability among Asians is distributed normally (bell curve) just as it is in every other population you could name.

Now is the median or mean (which do you have in mind?) higher than that of other races? How do you go about stating, let alone proving, that Asians are better at math than everyone else? Is it actually true? Can you point me to some links to support your thesis?
Thanks from jonah and Sebastian Garth

Hmmm....isn't any language some kind of memorization?
Like, you know you're in a "house" because someone told
you it was a "house" and you memorized this?

Perhaps he had a memory transplant?

'Memory transplant' achieved in snails - BBC News

But I thought it was a joke.
