You purchase a 2 pound bag for \$24.20. Each bag contains 9.5 cups of almonds. What is total cost for the almonds? Thank you in advance. Last edited by skipjack; February 24th, 2017 at 10:37 PM. Then, calculate the cost of 1 cup almonds:$\dfrac{19}{24.20}=\$0.78$(cost of 1 cup almonds) $0.78\times 4=\$3.14$(cost of 4 cups almond) February 25th, 2017, 02:21 AM #5 Math Team Joined: Jul 2011 From: Texas Posts: 2,755 Thanks: 1405 Quote: Originally Posted by deesuwalka If do you mean, what is the cost of 4 cups? Cost per cup is $\dfrac{\$24.20}{9.5 \text{ cups}} \approx \$2.55$ per cup
