I have been trying since last week. Thanks January 18th, 2017, 01:25 AM #2 Senior Member   Joined: Apr 2014 From: Glasgow Posts: 2,156 Thanks: 731 Math Focus: Physics, mathematical modelling, numerical and computational solutions I think the pattern is: First two terms are 19 and 13. Subsequent odd terms: Add 4 to last odd term Subsequent even terms: Add 9 to last even term The next number in the sequence is the seventh term (and odd term). Therefore the next number is 31, because we add 4 to 27.
