That's the work of a lifetime, of course. One book I really enjoy is The Road to Reality by Sir Roger Penrose.
Thanks from Joppy

I want to start rigourous so I've been trying to find a good treatment of basic set theory then construction of naturals, rationals, reals.

Am I just being a pedantic pseud?

I don't think in my textbook collection I have a construction of the number systems.

Could be wrong but nothing jumps out at me.

Should I just get on with it a couple of relatively simple books? Got apostols analysis and linear algebra done right in front of me.

Should I just get studying and see where I end up?
