New software for new Laptop

I bought new laptop (old one's hard disk blow up, not literally), I installed all math software, but I need some software on physics and chemistry also. Do you have some recommendations.

Biology is also accepted, I don't regard it as science.

Just do a google search on it. I found a cool simulation software called Physion.

Well for math I always recommend PARI/GP, see my .sig. What kinds of physics, chemistry, an biology programs are you looking for? That's a pretty wide net.

I have better software than pari/gp.

Only the best softwares, the price is irrelevant.

I don't know of anything better in its field.

Let me clarify. Better software for me. I installed pari few months ago, and it is nice. But I didn't use all of its "functions" (I couldn't remember necessary word).

I have Geogebra, Mathematica9, Microsoft Mathematics 4, Ruby, R, and etc.....

Ah. Also conspicuously missing is MatLAB or similar for heavy linear algebra.

Not missing, but not yet installed.

Trying to recover my book collection. Thousands of books are gone (literally). Most probably, I will not be able to recover math books.......
