Given is the data of the B-H curve of a core material (M4 steel): https://www.dropbox.com/s/r8da63kxg6n9ou4/BH.mat?dl=0 The BH curve can be plotted using Matlab (blue): I've tried to approximate it with this function (red): $\displaystyle B(H)_{approx} \; =1.62 \cdot (1-e^{-\frac{H}{11.4}} \quad);$ but the result is not good enough. The area that is important to me is marked green, I need the approximation to be as good as possible in this area. Can some one please show me how. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.
