Question Matlab Least-Squares Solution of Underdetermined System

Hello folks.

I'm trying to port some Matlab code into C language. Currently I stuck on what Matlab defines as "Least-Squares Solution of Underdetermined System".

What I need is to understand is an algorithm behind that solution. An example from Matlab documentation:

Solve a system of linear equations, A*x = b
Given A and b, calculate x = A\b

1 2 0
0 4 3

x = A\b

Resulting x:

I realize that there should be some kind of approximation / iteration?
