reading txt into maple
I have a 2 column text file, I am trying to get maple to read it using the command:
read "C:\\Program Files\\Maple 17\\file1.txt"
it finds it but gives me this:
Error, on line 1, syntax error, unexpected number:
Error, while reading ``C:\Program Files\Maple 17\file1.txt``

is there anything along the lines of .xml protocol in your txt doc? You could try putting it into an excel spreadsheet then importing that spreadsheet into the maple worksheet using the excel tools package.
then use the string tools package to manipulate your output into the desired format.
