Hi, I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this? I’m looking for two books, the first a beginner’s book on probability. Something easy to read and understand that will give me a good foundation in this area. The second being another beginner’s book on deduction. I think I mean ‘deduction’. Something that would help me to solve puzzles given limited information. Again easy to read and understand. Any suggestions would be great, Thank you.

I'm moving this to the math books and ebooks section. Also, I don't know any good probability books off hand, but for someone who might, what level is "basic"? Cheers
