Looking for a book or two...

Hi,

Iím not sure if this is the correct place to post this?

Iím looking for two books, the first a beginnerís book on probability. Something easy to read and understand that will give me a good foundation in this area.

The second being another beginnerís book on deduction. I think I mean Ďdeductioní. Something that would help me to solve puzzles given limited information. Again easy to read and understand.

Any suggestions would be great,

Thank you.

Re: Looking for a book or two...

I'm moving this to the math books and ebooks section.

Also, I don't know any good probability books off hand, but for someone who might, what level is "basic"?

Cheers

Polya's "How to Solve It" is often recommended, but I haven't read it. It may be at an appropriate level.
