I don't know about bool algebra, but there is a really helpful book for mathematical logic which is called "Proofs and Fundamental: A First Course in Abstract Mathematics" by Ethan D. Bloch.

It really helped me during my first semester in college and I recommend it.
Thanks from Lazar

For basic Logic, Peter Smith's Introduction to Logic, then read wikipedia and Stanford.plato related stuff on this, they have small articles giving fundamentals of BA's and alike sort of stuff. After that you can get Hodges&Chiswell Intro to Math. Log., a beautiful book didactically speaking.

DON'T get as a first book in Logic: Van Dalen, Mendelson, Enderton, Klenee, etc.

Math Focus: philosophy/found of math, metamath, logic, set/category/order/number theory, algebra, topology
My favorite, and the one I'm learning from is Introduction to mathematical logic by Alonzo Church. It's a legendary book, as he was a great mathematician, one of the greatest of the 20th century, and one of the greatest math logicians, famous for his hypothesys and lambda calculus.
